Giant, Houses, and Chimneys

i made this print with the intent to cut out all the little guys and collage them into a book i am making. i also liked this print by itself, so in this version, i handcolored it with watercolor. it is printed on rives lightweight paper.

Little Guys

this is a drawing with collage. it is just a detail. it is the first one i did and it is 22" x 30".

Small Etching

this is a small 2 plate etching (image = 4" x 6").

Giant, Houses, and Chimney.

this is a mysterious detail of a large collage (72" x 48") of a giant and 3 houses. the giant has velvety boots and the houses also have aluminum foil smokestacks.

Pink House

this etching is printed with chin colle is on kitakata paper. the paper is delicate and wrinkled a bit when it dried. the paper is called "kitakata greenish". i love that name! i found it at new york central art supply, which has an overwhelming and amazing paper department. anyway, the print has little paper shapes and also houses from proofs of the same print cut out and chin colled on.
